Listen to Sia on iHeartRadio

Sia is doing the unexpected and penning a song for herself.

The Australian songwriter, whose written hits for pop's biggest names, released a new single of her own on Monday called "Chandelier."  The anthemic tune is expected to be featured on Sia's upcoming sixth studio album.

Her last full-length came out in 2010, and following her smash hit with David Guetta "Titanium" a year later, she's co-written tracks for artists like Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Britney Spears.  She gave a song to the popular Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack last year.

"Billboard" says the new album is due out this summer.
