David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales have released the official music video for “Haces Falta Tú,” a moving collaboration with award-winning singer-songwriter Pete Astudillo that unites two of the most influential forces in Tejano music. Serving as the second single from the group’s highly anticipated forthcoming album 3225, the heartfelt track was penned by Astudillo and showcases an emotional blend of Garza’s signature accordion brilliance with Astudillo’s unmatched vocal delivery and storytelling.
Recorded at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, the single brings together an all-star production team. The track was Executive Produced by The Martinez Brothers — Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez — with acclaimed producer and keyboardist Hector Gutierrez, Sr. leading production. Engineering was handled by Eli Molina, while Mariano Herrera crafted the final mix and master.
The newly released music video, filmed inside Legends Sound Studios, adds a visual layer of intimacy to the already powerful song. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Ryan Bazan, the video highlights the chemistry and artistry of David Lee Garza, Pete Astudillo, and Los Musicales lead vocalist Cezar Martinez, the longest-tenured frontman in the Grammy-winning group’s history with over 11 years at the helm.
