Lyft recently announced new safety requirements for passengers and drivers:
- Both must now wear masks. Passengers will have to confirm they have a mask before being picked up.
- Passengers must also confirm they aren't experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
- Passengers must now agree not to ride in the front seat, and drivers must also agree to keep their windows open whenever possible.
- Shared rides with strangers are also now prohibited.
- Drivers will have to confirm they are wearing masks, and that they are keeping their rides and hands sanitized.
