Louisville, Kentucky has settled the wrongful death lawsuit that was filed by Breonna Taylor's family.
If you are not familiar with her story I will give you a quick summary. Six months ago, Breonna Taylor was murdered by local Louisville Police as they completed a no-knock warrant. Breonna was sleeping in bed when the police raided her apartment and shot her while she slept.
The wrongful death lawsuit has been settled, giving the family $12 million. This will never be enough for her life. The police responsible have not been arrested.
