NASA Hiring People to Spend a Year Simulating Life on Mars

NASA is seeking applicants for their "one-year analog mission in a habitat to simulate life on a distant world."

NASA plans to hire four crew members who are willing to work and live in a 3D printed, 1,700-square-foot module called Mars Dune Alpha. Tasks include simulated space walks, virtual reality and robotic controls and other research.

"The posting calls for healthy and motivated U.S. citizens between the ages of 30 and 55 years old, plus a STEM master's degree or sufficient experience piloting an aircraft."
