With a career spanning over 40 years, Shelly Lares—affectionately known as “Little Miss Dynamite”—has been a powerhouse in the industry, paving the way for female artists in Tejano music with her powerhouse vocals, dynamic stage presence, and unwavering dedication to the genre.

Though she stepped away from the road, Lares has remained deeply involved in music as the founder of Shellshock Records 3 and a recording studio, mentoring and producing the next generation of Tejano artists.
