Tejano star Bobby Pulido is preparing to say farewell to his music career in a grand way with the release of his final album Bobby Pulido & Friends – Una Tuya y Una Mía, a double live album packed with star-studded collaborations recorded during a special series of concerts in Monterrey, Mexico. The album, his last major musical release before retiring from music at the end of 2025, was captured live in December 2024 at the Auditorio Cumbres and will be released under Fonovisa/Universal.
Pulido, who is currently on his Por La Puerta Grande Tour, revealed the album’s unique concept during a recent appearance on the Bean & Chisme podcast. “It was all live,” he shared. “The concept is Bobby and friends, una tuya y una mía. So I would sing one of their songs with them. And they sing one of my songs with me.”
Among the musical guests featured on the album are a diverse lineup of Latin music stars, including Alicia Villarreal, David Bisbal, Jennifer Peña, David Olivarez, Luis Padilla of Grupo La Firma, Majo Aguilar, and more. Over five nights, three guest artists joined Pulido each evening, making for a total of 30 years of legacy moments onstage.
The first volume of Bobby Pulido & Friends – Una Tuya y Una Mía includes 14 songs, which will be released in pairs each week beginning April 22 and continuing through May 30. The launch begins with a reimagined version of Pulido’s signature hit “Desvelado” in a duet with David Bisbal, followed two days later by a norteño-tejano rendition of Bisbal’s hit “Dígale.” The second volume, featuring 16 tracks, will start its weekly rollout on June 17 and conclude August 7.
In addition to the double album, Pulido is also working on a studio album expected in 2026, a final gift to fans before he transitions into a new chapter—public service. The singer has confirmed plans to run for public office in Texas, although details remain under wraps.
Fans will still have the chance to catch Pulido live throughout the year, with the Por La Puerta Grande Tour continuing through 2025. Next on the schedule is an April 25 show in San Antonio, Texas, where Pulido will be joined by his legendary father, Roberto Pulido, in celebration of his birthday. The farewell tour will also include dates across the U.S. and Mexico with a major stop at Mexico City’s iconic Auditorio Nacional on August 9.
