Houston, TX — Acclaimed Tejano singer-songwriter and two-time Latin GRAMMY winner Juan Treviño returns with his most personal work yet — 6, a new seven-track album now available on all streaming platforms.
A sonic exploration of love, loss, and rebirth, 6 is Treviño’s sixth solo release and a powerful testament to his artistic evolution. Drawing from his Texas roots and international experiences, the Houston-based artist seamlessly blends Tejano, cumbia, and flamenco rhythms, showcasing his versatility and passion for cross-cultural storytelling.
At the heart of 6 is “Las Calles de Sevilla,” a romantic and nostalgic standout track featuring renowned Spanish guitarist Jon Plágaro. Inspired by a 2023 visit to Sevilla, Spain, the song paints a vivid portrait of Treviño’s emotional connection to the city’s historic streets. Its rich flamenco influence paired with the warmth of cumbia creates a unique musical fusion that stands out in today’s Latin music landscape.
“This is my sixth release as a singer-songwriter, which is why I decided to simply call it 6,” says Treviño. “It’s a journey of emotions — written so that everyone can connect with the lyrics. ‘Las Calles de Sevilla’ holds a special place in my heart.”

With 6, Juan Treviño invites listeners to travel through a spectrum of emotions — from heartache to hope — wrapped in sounds that transcend borders. The album is more than music; it’s a reflection of life, love, and the places that shape us.
