Suzette Quintanilla, sister of the late Tejano music legend Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, recently sat down for a special SiriusXM Hits Uno Townhall interview, hosted by SiriusXM Program Director Israel Salazar. Presented by Águila and Hits Uno, the event marks a major celebration of Selena’s enduring legacy—including the launch of a brand-new documentary, the upcoming 30th anniversary of her iconic crossover album Dreaming of You, and the remastered vinyl debut of Entre a Mi Mundo.

The Townhall is set to air on June 5, 2025, and, according to fans who attended the taping on Tuesday night (May 27), listeners can expect major announcements about Selena that are sure to excite longtime followers and new fans alike.

Suzette shared her excitement in a recent post on social media: “So much to share. Coming soon!! Thank you SiriusXM!”

The post included a behind-the-scenes photo from the interview space, featuring a banner of Selena and the heartfelt phrase, “Siempre Selena…Her legacy sings on,” alongside the SiriusXM logo.

This highly anticipated interview follows the success of Anything for Selenas, a heartfelt tribute special hosted by pop star and proud Selena fan Becky G. The special aired on Selena Day (April 16), delivering an unforgettable musical celebration of the Mexican-American icon’s life and influence. Becky G took fans on a journey through Selena’s cultural impact and how her music continues to inspire generations within the Latino community. The full special is currently available to stream on the SiriusXM app.

As fans eagerly await what Suzette and SiriusXM have in store, one thing is certain—Selena’s legacy is alive, thriving, and continues to make waves 30 years later.

What could the big news be? We’ll find out during the Townhall interview on June 5.
