South Texas Tejano sensation Magali Delarosa has unveiled the official music video for “Cuando Te Enamoras,” the lead single from her latest EP, Flor Y Diamante. The video, directed by Baldemar Garcia, beautifully highlights the Rio Grande Valley and its amazing people, capturing the region’s spirit and vibrancy.

Delarosa shared the story behind the video with Tejano Nation, explaining, “Cuando te enamoras is the first single off the album. And it’s actually a cover song. I first heard it while shopping with my daughter months ago and thought, ‘There’s just something so special about this song. Can we redo it?’” She added that her team crafted a cumbia version that she instantly fell in love with, making it the perfect choice for her EP’s debut single.

“When the Mercedes Livestock Show came around, I knew we had a chance to shoot some footage there with the carnival and all the people,” she continued. “And then for the dance scenes, we invited the community here in the Rio Grande Valley to bring their kids. We had professional dancers mixed in too, doing tricks in the video. It was really fun!”

The music video also features scenes of Magali with Dusty The Horse of Wind Swept Stables, as well as performance shots at the Mustang Lounge in Weslaco, Texas, where the Premios Tejano Mundial winner performed to a lively crowd. Known for her unique style, Magali even showcased her fashion design skills by creating her own stunning outfits for the video.

Delarosa is thrilled with the reception so far, celebrating over 48,000 views and hoping the fans will continue to share and support the project. “I’m so happy people are enjoying it,” she said. “We’re hoping to double that in the weeks to come.”

Watch “Cuando Te Enamoras” now and celebrate the culture, community, and contagious energy that Magali Delarosa brings to the Tejano music scene.
