Rising Tejano and mariachi artist Angel Miranda has released a deeply personal new single just in time for Father’s Day. Titled Te Amaré (translated as “I Will Love You”), the stirring mariachi ballad dives into the pain of feeling unseen by a parent, while ultimately celebrating the healing power of unconditional love.

Angel Miranda, a mother herself, uses the song to reflect on her own childhood and her evolving relationship with her father. “‘Te Amaré’ is a way of healing and reflecting on my relationship with my father,” she shared. “As a mother now, I understand the value of love and time with my children, and I hope this song can inspire others to do the same.

Written from the heart, the song was brought to life by legendary Tejano icon Shelly Lares, CEO of Shellshock Records 3, and songwriter Jose Rosario, who worked closely with Angel Miranda to capture her emotional truth. Featuring powerful instrumentation by Mariachi Los Paisanos from Miranda’s alma mater, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), the track is both raw and beautiful — a testament to resilience, forgiveness, and the importance of speaking one’s truth.

Angel Miranda revealed that the song was inspired by a dream her grandfather, Mingo Ramos, once had and shared with her. “When I brought the idea, my story, and my PomPom’s dream to Shelly and Jose, I explained that the pain I’ve carried in my heart is not hatred,” she said. “It’s a wish — a wish that I could have had the kind of relationship with my daddy that every little girl hopes for. I didn’t. That’s my truth. But I love my daddy endlessly and he knows that — and that’s all that matters.

Though her parents divorced when she was just seven years old, Angel Miranda emphasizes the importance of growth, forgiveness, and embracing the life God has given us. “Life is too short to leave things unsaid, and far too precious to carry regret,” she added. “I am who I am because of what I’ve lived, and I intend to keep living it well.

“Te Amaré” is featured on Angel Miranda’s self-titled album and already striking a chord with fans who’ve experienced similar emotions. “So many of you have already reached out to tell me what this song means to you — and that’s why it exists,” she said.

Angel Miranda dedicated the release to her father and to all those missing their dads this Father’s Day. She also gave heartfelt thanks to Shelly Lares, Jose Rosario, and Mariachi Los Paisanos for helping bring her vision to life.

“This song means so very much to me,” she said. “It has been extremely cathartic. I hope it brings healing and comfort to anyone who hears it.”

“Te Amaré” is available now on all digital streaming platforms.
