Tejano superstar Bobby Pulido continues his 30th anniversary celebration with the release of “Vive”, a powerful duet with Jennifer Peña, one of Latin music’s most influential voices. The track, originally a 2005 hit from the Latin Grammy-winning Pulido, is the latest single from his highly anticipated live duets album Bobby Pulido & Friends – Una Tuya y Una Mía (Volumen 2). The special performance was captured during Pulido’s unforgettable concert series in December 2024 at Auditorio Cumbres in Monterrey, Mexico.

Una Tuya y Una Mía isn’t your typical live album. Across five nights, Pulido invited some of Latin music’s brightest stars to join him onstage in a unique format: performing one of their songs together, and one of his. “It was all live,” Pulido shared during a recent appearance on the Bean & Chisme podcast. “The concept is Bobby and friends—una tuya y una mía. So I would sing one of their songs with them, and they sing one of my songs with me.” The result is a dynamic and emotional collection that blends genres, generations, and styles, reflecting Pulido’s versatility and deep respect for his peers.

Already, fans have been treated to standout collaborations with international Spanish pop sensation David Bisbal, Mexican powerhouse Alicia Villarreal, iconic grupero band Bronco, and a touching duet with Pulido’s father and Tejano pioneer, Roberto Pulido. Volume One of the project, released in May by Fonovisa/Universal, offered 14 tracks unveiled in pairs. Volume Two, schedule for release soon, adds 16 more live collaborations, including performances with David OlivarezLuis Padilla of Grupo La FirmaEl Plan, and others.

“Every collaboration, every note, every moment on stage was recorded with all my heart, and I want you to experience it with me,” Pulido added in a video shared to social media.

The Una Tuya y Una Mía double album serves as the soundtrack to Pulido’s farewell tour, Por La Puerta Grande, a fitting tribute to his 30 years as one of Tejano music’s most beloved artists. Fans can expect both nostalgia and new energy, as Pulido revisits classics like “Desvelado” and “Enséñame” while delivering fresh takes through these memorable live duets.

Looking ahead, Pulido has announced plans for one final studio album, slated for 2026, before he officially retires from music. In a surprising and inspiring move, he revealed that he intends to enter public service in his home state of Texas, aiming to give back to the community that has supported him throughout his remarkable career.
