Her lifestyle brand Draper James took to instagram their "well-intentioned" giveaway....
What seemed to be a great giveaway for teachers, quickly turned into a failure.
With only 250 dresses to give away, Draper James ended up with almost a million online applications for a dress.
Teachers have taken their thoughts to social media and are especially upset because they have been receiving unsolicited emails from the brand with coupons for their merchandise.
Wow. @draperjames clearly doesn't know how much teachers make. "We love teachers! Here's 30% off our ridiculously expensive dresses." If I'm spending over $100 on an "everyday dress," it better also grade essays.

We were really overwhelmed. It was way more volume than the company had ever seen. We expected the single-digit thousands.
