New Kobe Bryant Law

I remember the exact moment when I got the news that Kobe, his daugher Gigi and 7 other passengers had been involved in a fatal helicopter accident. My heart continues to ache for those who have been affected by this tragedy.

On Monday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a new measure called the "Kobe Bryant Law", making it a misdemeanor for first responders to take or share any photographs from accidents or crime scenes. This law will take effect in January.

Eight deputies have been accused of taking and sharing death photographs of the fatal helicopter crash that happened on January 26th.

I am disgusted at the fact that someone would even think about doing this!
