Just days after an emotional and amazing farewell concert in the Rio Grande Valley, Tejano icon Elida Reyna has shared what fans can expect from her final performance at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, December 12, 2025.

The two-time Latin Grammy winner took to social media to thank fans for their unwavering support and to give a glimpse of what’s ahead.

“I just wanted to thank all of my people, my beautiful people of the RGV for such an amazing night, Saturday at the Bert Ogden Arena,” Reyna said in her video message. “I wanna thank the beautiful Elsa Garcia, Mariachi Aztlán. If you guys thought the show was amazing, wait until our very last performance happening in San Antonio, Texas, December the 12th at the Majestic Theater. We are inviting four amazing, iconic artists to share the stage with me. And every week up until the show, up until the date, we will be announcing a different artist. So stay tuned right here and don’t forget to purchase your ticket at MajesticEmpire.com. We’ll see you then.”

The RGV concert, which featured a heartfelt guest performance by “La Primera Dama” of Tejano music, Elsa Garcia, served as the penultimate stop of Elida Reyna y Avante’s Farewell Tour, capping an extraordinary 34-year journey on the road.

As the most decorated artist in Tejano Music Awards history—with a record 42 awards to her name—Reyna’s farewell concert at the Majestic Theatre will be a moment of full-circle significance.

In an exclusive comment to Tejano Nation, Elida reflected on the importance of the venue:

“I chose San Antonio because it is here that I stepped into the spotlight back in 1994 at the Tejano Music Awards for the very first time, and it is here, at the iconic Majestic Theatre, that I will take the stage one last time. This is proof that if you have tireless work ethic, the will to never give up and, most importantly, the ‘songs’ to carry a career, you can live out a childhood dream and perform on a stage you thought you could never reach. As I step away, I hope my songs continue to inspire and motivate future generations. As I close this chapter, we’d love to see our ‘EYA’ fans one last time Friday, December 12th for an unforgettable night.”

Elida Reyna first captured the heart of the Tejano music world in 1994, performing in front of 50,000 fans at the Tejano Music Awards with her now-iconic hit “Luna Llena.” That performance launched her into stardom and established her as one of Tejano’s defining voices.
