On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the Imperial Convention Center will open its doors for a Free Thanksgiving Meal & Music event, welcoming anyone in need of a warm meal, good company, and live Tejano sounds.

“We know times are tough for a lot of families,” said event organizers. “This is our way of giving back — reminding our neighbors they’re not alone this Thanksgiving.”
