Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is excited to once again host a FREE backpack giveaway to help support disadvantaged school-aged children in Tucson. Families are invited to join this fun, indoor back-to-school event on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center (260 S Church Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). During the event, 1,000 FREE backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each student, age 18 or younger, is eligible to receive one backpack, but K-12 students must be present to receive theirs..
In addition to the backpack giveaway, families can enjoy free entertainment and treats, including face painters, a balloon artist, and a visit from an ice cream truck handing out complimentary sweet treats, while supplies last.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Kids and adults who sing the iconic Lerner and Rowe jingle during the event will also score a free swag item, because nothing helps celebrate a new school year like music, prizes, and plenty of smiles.
For everyone’s safety, families are kindly asked to remain in their vehicles until the event begins and to be cautious of pedestrians and other vehicles when entering and exiting the parking lot, as well as when lining up at the venue.
“We’re excited to be back in Tucson for another free backpack and school supply giveaway,” shared attorney Kevin Rowe. “Every student deserves to start the school year feeling prepared and confident, but we know the cost of supplies can be tough on families. That’s why, over the past eight years, including this year, we’ve donated 6,900 backpacks to help local kids get ready for the classroom. It’s our way of giving back and showing Tucson students that we believe in them.”
In 2025, Lerner and Rowe will give away a total of 6,700 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in seven cities across the country, including Tucson, Bullhead City, Yuma, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Tucson marks the sixth stop on this year’s giveaway tour. These free events are just one of the many ways the firm helps support local kids and families.
